2) DO-IT-YOURSELF: If you're handy with shop tools and physically able. (Lots of heavy lifting of 50 to possibly 100 lbs especially with tear-outs; repetitive pounding of heavy hammers; lots of time on knees).
3) LOWEST DUST PRODUCING: Although, no installation is dust free - even this prefinished flooring installation creates dust when the wood is pounded to the sub-floor.
2) CUSTOMIZED PRODUCT: Maschino Wood Floors prefinished woods are as personal to you as you'd like with the: a) wood species choices & widths; b) unlimited stain colors; c) choices of flat surface or handscraping; d) various other distressing.
3) FUTURE REPAIRS: Our customized products are very easy to repair in the future since we keep your stain code on file along with all pertinent details specific to your floor.
4) DO-IT-YOURSELF REPAIRS: You can even do possible future repairs yourself with the stain and some finish from us.
5) BEVELED EDGES: All woods move. Since each prefinished board is separate from the one next to it, it hides this natural movement caused by changes in humidity and seasonal heating and cooling.
Prefinished Con's:
1) BEVELED EDGES: These edges are needed to dull the sharp edges of boards. Debris catches in these areas.
